Meet Georgia - our Miss Personality all the way from you guessed it ..... the state of Georgia! Her major in school is computer science! She was rescued as a tiny kitten by one of our volunteers traveling thru the peanut state . We bottle fed her and taught her how to lap from a bowl, and then she started teaching us things ! - Very smart and determined kitty. She loves to greet you when you come home and likes to be the first kitty to get the wet food ! She will eat everyone’s wet food if not careful! She is a well rounded gal as she likes to play hard and love hard! She loves to be talked to when you look deep Into her golden eyes and snuggle . Belly rubs and sitting in your lap is what she loves when play time is over . She likes to be with you in the house or office . Definitely not the couch potato! And she loves to check out the newest interactive toys watching , investigating , pawing it , having fun! Cattywhack ( blue-star game in picture , turboscratcher : round cardboard pad in center of ball in a round track. She likes the IPad when you pull-up the Koi fish in a pond game . The sound of the water and the beautiful fish captivate her , and she will touch the fish as they go by. The black robot mouse circling around the stacks of cheese is fun too! She is high energy but not a bull in a china closet and loves chasing the red laser dot on the floor ( but don’t wear me out. I like catnip and toys that make crinkle or jingle sounds but be responsible and buy good toys that won’t tear up quickly and present pieces and parts that could be swallowed . Georgia likes other cats but might be also content on her own if you provide and rotate a lot of interactive toys to keep her happy . She is definitely a people loving kitty . She has observed lab puppies being trained in the yard and at the glass sliding door but hasn’t had regular time with nice dogs . She is confident which is a positive sign she would be a good candidate . Of course there is a special way you socialize cats to cats and cats to dogs , and we can coach you . Nice children are always welcome with Georgia though she doesn’t have children in her foster home .
Georgia's adoption fee is $65.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery that is already done. All kitties are litterbox trained.
