Noel was first spotted in December 2020 late at night in front of a bank on north 9th Avenue. She was shivering and crying, but we were unable to trap her that night. A volunteer went back to the bank the next day and found her inside a plastic box that someone had set up as a shelter. She was taken to the vet the next day but was too sick to be spayed. We got her healthy and she's doing great. However, Noel is quite shy, especially around new people. She's gotten comfortable at her foster house so we know she'll come around in a new home. Her foster says she is the sweetest little girl there ever was. She can pet her for hours and Noel won't ever get enough loving. She gets along with the other cats in her foster home. Whoever adopts Noel will need to be as special as she is. They'll need to be patient and give her the time she needs to adjust to her new surroundings and family. There isn't anything more gratifying than earning the trust of a shy kitty. Noel will do best in a quiet home without young kids. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org. There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register. For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org or 850-780-3223.
