Gizmo (Gizzy) is a six year old Boxer/Beagle mix who was rescued from an abusive owner - he was previously mistreated and shot with a BB gun.  There are still BB's under his skin!  He is house trained and will walk on a leash but prefers running around in a fenced in yard.  He knows basic commands like sit.  Gizzy is great around other dogs and loves kids but is not fond of cats.  He has been in a very loving home, but unfortunately, his current owner has serious medical issues (lung cancer) and is not well enough to take care of him.  Gizzy is a very sweet and loving boy but is scared of thunderstorms and will hide under your bed!  He also loves car rides!! Please consider opening up your home and heart to this sweet boy!!
