Tortoiseshell / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult
Heather was rescued from the local animal shelter when Pine Forest High School decided to kill all the cats. Pine Forest High School wouldn't give them to us or let us trap them. They were determined that the cats would be killed. Fortunately for Heather, and the other 10 cats trapped at PFHS, a teacher that worked there also volunteered with us. We worked out a plan with the animal shelter that we would take any cats trapped at PFHS. Heather is a character and always keeps the volunteers laughing with her antics. She is playful and will explore any cupboard door or box you leave open. She also likes to play fetch with plastic kitty toy springs. She gets along well with other cats, but we don't know about dogs. Her adoption fee is $65.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV/FIV test (negative), microchip and spay surgery. She is litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org. There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register. For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org or 850-780-3223. We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat. Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines. More about HeatherGood with Cats
