American Shorthair / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large Blind
My name is Apollo and I was rescued by AAFL from ECAS. I had eye infections in both eyes, requiring the removal of my left eye. I can see about 20% out of my right eye, but sometimes I have a hard time getting down off of high things. My foster Mom makes sure that she doesn't have things in the way that I may hit when jumping down, but most of the time I eventually will find away down from my favorite cat condo. Sometimes my good eye gets a little red and irritated and then my foster Mom puts eye drops in it for few days and them I'm fine. I am a total love bug. I love being kissed, cuddled, laying on your chest, being in your lap, and around you all the time. I'm not sure yet if I know how to socialize with other animals. I haven't had much exposure to other cats. My foster Mom has cats, but she keeps me separated because when I get close to them and feel them around me I tend to jump on them trying to play, but it sometimes comes off a little aggressive and scares them and me too. I think with the right situation and close supervision I may acclimate well to another cat. I am good with kids though. I am looking for a furever home with a family whom can give me a lot love and willing to take a chance on a special needs kitty.
