This gorgeous boy is Knute.  He came into our rescue when one of our volunteers agreed to foster him and three other adult Cornish Rex cats. They previously lived in South Florida and were loved by a kind man, who unfortunately had cancer and couldn't take care of them.  His son assisted in finding them homes and they have been settling in and getting quite comfy in their foster home.  They are true to their breed and very curious and affectionate.  Knute it the largest and loves to be ON you!  He is quiet but very curious and would do best with someone who is able to spend a lot of time with him, perhaps someone who works from home, stay-at-home parent, or a retiree?  Knute loves to gently 'head butt' you to get your attention and prefers to be on your lap and even under the covers with you at night!  He gets along well with everyone he's encountered, adults, kids, other cats and cat-friendly dogs! This guy is a very handsome boy in good health. We believe he's around five years old.  We've taken him to our vet to ensure he's in good health.  He loves to play with toys, snuggle under the covers, and will come running if you shake a bag of treats!

Since he is an unusual breed as well as some high vet bills we've recently incurred, we are asking an adoption fee of $200.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV negative, and neuter.  Knute is litterbox trained.
